This won’t burn 100 calories. It’s far more likely to burn between 18-22 calories, depending on your body’s overall muscle mass.
Isn’t it true that it may only burn 18 - 22 cals while performing the exercise but throughout the day these particular ( strength training) exercises will burn more then the original 18-22 cals throughout the day?
I’m sorry, but I don’t completely understand what you’re asking.
Your body burns more calories while maintaining muscle than it does while maintaining fat. This means that if you increase your muscle mass, you will expend more energy throughout your typical day, without engaging in any additional exercise. So if you frequently engage in strength training exercises and gain additional muscle mass? Yes, your body will be burning more calories than it previously did.
But that is not a reflection of these particular exercises - That is a reflection of your body’s composition. It does not mean that this short list will inherently require more energy.
This is important. And this is why I delete any questions I get of “How many calories does this workout burn?” I can’t tell you that. Read the post the-exercist linked to for more information. And please, for the love of all you hold dear, stop asking fitblrs how many calories you’re burning. We can’t tell you.
